Soapwalla Deodorant Cream
Back in 2011 and 2012 when I had my store (Pretty Beauty & Books), this product was our best seller. In fact, we were the first place to stock it in Canada! I've been using it for two years and it actually works. It's completely natural, and I can't say enough good things about it, or it's founder, Rachel Winard (she's a genius!). I'm a die-hard Soapwalla fan and out to convert the non-believers too...
Price: $12.99 - $14 CAD

Directions: Gently stir deodorant thoroughly with a finger prior to use to ensure deodorant is thoroughly mixed (some separation is normal), scoop a small amount with your finger and gently apply to the entire armpit. Allow cream to absorb completely then go about your day stink-free! Note: Deodorant may melt in hot weather; if so, simply stir deodorant cream thoroughly and let solidify prior to use.
Notable Facts About This Product: Created by Rachel Winard, founder and chef of Soapwalla Kitchen, this entirely natural deodorant truly works. Winard began making her own skin care solutions to deal with Lupus and the side effects of her inflammatory autoimmune illness years ago. The deodorant contains superfine vegetable powders, clays and essential oils which absorb moisture and inhibit bacteria. The product is applied manually and absorbs quickly.
Personal Experience (Andrea): I have to be honest: I get sweaty under my arms (I know, I know). If I'm cold, if I'm warm, no matter what. I used to think, before I discovered Soapwalla Deodorant Cream, that I would never wear grey shirts again, and I was thankful that I never had to go anywhere where I had to raise my hand in front of a group. Isn't it so nice when things turn around? When I tried Soapwalla, I knew I would never go back. What shocked me the most was what seemed the strangest thing: all natural ingredients, I mean pretty basic, kitchen-beautician stuff, no harsh chemicals, and yet, no sweat, little moisture and definitely nothing dripping down my side halfway through the day. It boggles my mind. If that's not enough, Soapwalla founder, Rachel Winard is a lovely person and really cares about her product line and what goes into it.
For newbies, be wary if you're wearing silk or satin, as this product contains a lot of oils, so let it dry in before dressing. For those of you that have been hearing great things, go on - try it already! I also suggest to give it about a week before you make a final decision. Some of my former customers found it took them a while to get used to it, but then absolutely loved it and are now converts themselves.
