Stephan LaCasse On Beauty
If you ask anybody at any given time, you could ask someone what's beautiful every day for a full year and probably everyday they'll tell you something different, depending on where they're at.
I think once a picture is put in the brain, it's always beautiful, but when you take that picture, and you go - 'that's beautiful' and you absorb it as a beautiful thing, it does really depend on your state of mind at the time, what your perspective is, what your frame is.
To be able to really appreciate that something beautiful is beautiful, you have to kind of step outside your shoes, your body, for a minute and just take that snapshot from an outside perspective, otherwise you're just sort of like a cat looking around. To be able to go, "look at all of this, this is beautiful, wow - those clouds are beautiful", that's, you know, there's a lot in that statement. I think totally the cliche's true; beauty is in the eye of the beholder."
