Green Beaver Daily Face Cream SPF 15
I have a confession to make: I've just started wearing sunscreen daily. That Baz Luhrmann song's 'scientific advice' went right over my spot-free complexion back in '99, and living on the east coast, I assumed it just didn't apply. I was of the mind that it was okay to wear sunscreen only on days when I was going out into the direct hot sun, like on a Cuban vacation, or on a 37°C day at Trinity Bellwoods. Now that I am 30, my skin is changing (ageing) before my eyes, and a few new freckles have made the sunscreen mantra mine. I've jumped on the bandwagon and urge you to wear sunscreen - every day - inside or outside. While you're at it, find a natural one like Green Beaver's Daily Face Cream SPF 15. A favourite of editors and natural sunscreen lovers, it's wearable under makeup, because it's non greasy, and it's also Canadian-made. It's my new daily go-to, and rain or shine, I'm protecting the clear skin I have now, because like Baz reminds us, we won't understand the power and beauty of our youth until they have faded.
