I mentioned these Soapwalla Indulgent Bath Salts in a post last Friday, and think they deserve a feature of their own.
I'm a big fan of Soapwalla, so anything that makes it's way from her line of natural handcrafted products to my beauty cabinet gets top billing. Rachel Winard, the genius behind the brand, makes everything herself in her Brooklyn studio. You may be aware of her best selling and cult favourite deodorant cream.
These, however are not simply epsom salts in a cute package, but a signature blend of Epsom salt, Utah Red Basin salt, gray salt, sodium bicarbonate, and the essential oils of Cedarwood, Grapefruit, Cypress, and Neroli. I prefer the Detox option (there are four blends available) for dealing with water retention and for a general feeling of well being. Though I don't tend to take a lot of baths, I make an extra effort to fill the tub and toss in a handful of this aromatic and soothing blend to take the edge off a long day while I sip a glass of wine and catch up on some very important magazine reading.
