Pretty Eats: Superbowl XLVIII 7 Clean Eating Options for Sunday's Game

Superbowl XLVIII is this Sunday, and I'm pumped. As you may recall, from last year, I love football and never miss the big finale. Everything about the Superbowl is BIG - especially the food choices at game parties (macaroni and cheese soup, anyone?). I've put together a list of links of clean-eating,  sport-friendly edibles.

I'll be the first to admit, that there are few things as fun as crushing beers, cramming in potato chips and hollering at the TV come Superbowl sunday. I love it. But I don't love the food hangover that comes the day after. I'll be packing a couple of these yummy treats for the party this weekend.

Need a Superbowl refresher? Here's the best breakdown of what's happening on Sunday at 6:30pm EST.

1/ Start the game off right with munchies. Paleo-friendly nut bites customized by Tasty Yummies will get everyone's appetite going.
2/ Peach or cantaloupe salsa is a refreshing and delicious way to take your chips. Try it with veggies or raw crackers.
3/ Guacamole is always a favourite and is to salsa what the Manning brothers are to football.
4/ If you make these impressive red lentil and cauliflower burgers it's likely you'll be crowned the party MVP.
5/ Angie Adventure's chilli is a halftime winner and very good with corn chips.
6/ Snack on some sweet Berry Fruit Crumble while you watch the players rough and tumble.
7/ I suggest making these yummy banana ices in an ice cube tray and then popping one on top of each serving of the warm berry fruit crumble above at the start of the last quarter. Touchdown.
